I just got my 35mm f/1.8 DX lens today! Its a lovely little normal lens for my D40 that is the fastest DX lens to date, so I finally have an important addition to my equipment list.

I'll be shooting a family wedding in canada in about about a month, so i'll be using that and my ultrawide for most things. I just need a telephoto now, and I can stop carrying around the kit lens with me.

Early impressions are good, and its such a cheap lens theres not really much of a case not to buy it.
